British Shorthair Cats
                              Cattery Agilis Cattus*Pl

Our adventure with cats began exactly in September 2004. It was when we bought our first cat, Clara Euforia*Pl. In the beginning she was supposed to be just a new member of our family, but it turned out pretty quickly that we would like something more than just "something to stroke". Since Clara got excellent reports on her first cat shows, we decided to set up a small cattery. For some time we were even thinking about another breed, but our love to the British Shorthairs turned out to be stronger than we had thought. Well, that shouldn't be any surprise, since we have always bred the animals we had at home.

In November 2005 we registered our cattery name Agilis Cattus*PL in Cat Club Wrocław, which is the member of Felis Polonia, the organisation federating all Feline Clubs and Associations in Poland, working under the supervision of FIFe. Our cattery is still very young, but I already have my small successes. We currently have six cats, 5 females and one cream stud. Clara herself is already a Champion, Borgia and Arabica are Supreme Champions, Fado is a Grand International Champion, only two certificates more towards the Supreme Champion title. Gatta is an International Champion, and the youngest member of our cattery, Ino, is a Champion :).

My dream is to breed good, strong cats, with heavy bones and big heads, the real teddy bears. Well, dreams are to come true, so I am sure I will succede!

Our cattery is regularly tested against FeLV and, FIV and has valid, negative results of these tests. All the cats have also genetic PKD certificates.

                                      ABOUT MY FAMILY

Agnieszka   Arek   Our fish   Our turtles    Our newts

Welcome to the home page devoted to my nearest and dearest. My family is made up of my husband, Bohdan, my two children, a girl named Agnieszka and a son named Arek. Apart from human members of my family, I also have fish, turtles, newts, and 6 sweet beautiful and cute British Shorhair cats.

Clara is the the first cat that appeared in our family, the constant cause of endless battles about "It's me who's Clara sleeping with today!" From Clara's second litter we kept one of the girls, Borgia. Borgia is the cutest pet in our family, most patient and wonderful. Soon we were accompanied by another girl, this time from Lindenpalais cattery from Germany. To make life merrier, we kept two other cats born in our cattery, a fantastic cream stud after Borgia, and a sweet and beautiful girl after Arabica.

Apart from cats, we also have 3 tanks with fish, two tanks with turtles and newts. Until recently we had had a mouse called Marian. Marian died aged 2 years and 8 months, which is really a lot for a little mouse. My children claim Clara liked Marian very much (which probably is true), but I didn't let them check that too much. Marian once happened to have a very close encounter with Clara, and he didn't seem to be very pleased. Anyway, he survived.

                                        AGNIESZKA

My daughter Agnieszka is nearly 18. She has a lot of interests, like reading, cycling, walking the mountains, skiing and sailing, but her greatest love have always been animals. She is dreaming of becoming a vet in future, but I'm sure she will still have a lot of other ideas.

Agnieszka loves horseriding very much, and tries to fill time with her different hobbies as much as possible. Clara is surely her favourite, and the love seems to be mutual, as Agnieszka is the person on whose knees Clara sits most frequently.

My daughter plays the piano, she attended Music School for 8 years and listening to her play is really a great pleasure. Her last achievement is a sailing licence, which made her very proud. She promised to take me on the boat...

                                        AREK

Arek is over 19, he likes reading, cycling and walking the mountains, the more difficult the routs, the better. Two years ago he "explored" the Tatra Mountains, and it seems to be the beginning of a bigger and more serious adventure.

My son can do almost everything that is necessary to survive in difficult conditions, so I can go with him everywhere without worrying about fire or other "facilities". Last year he covered a distance of 550 kilometres on a fully equipped bike, and this year he got a sailing licence. For the time being, Arek is beginning his studies at University of Technology.

My son can play the violin, and after 8 years of learning in Music School they make a very good band with Agnieszka. I wish I could sing at least!!!
